The Decorators and Interior Designers College of Lleida is the college that controls our profession within the territory of Lleida. This is one of the provincial delegations that along with Barcelona, Girona and Tarragona form the Official Decorators and Interior Designers College of Catalonia.
Likewise within Spain, the college forms part of the General Council of the Official Decorators and Interior Designers Colleges of Spain, as well as founder-member of the ECIA and IFI. This shows the compromise of our College to fulfil with its international agreements that are decided for the promotion of our profession as well as its international standardization.
The Official Decorators and Interior Designers College of Catalonia has as purpose whatever there is more than to carry out the current legislation of professional nature: as a group it has to be open-minded to the evolution and improvement of the profession, bearing in mind that the College exists due to the professional collective.

The Decorator and Interior Designer’s profession evolved with the years, being today one with growing social value. The interior designers are experts in creating a space and administrating an interior work. The qualification of a designer is nowadays a university degree that guarantees the wide knowledge necessary to face up to the complexity of executing a project.
New times call for more and more knowledge to embrace the new technical possibilities and the innovative resorts in the use of new resources. Dominating and valuing these priorities passes through the minds of good technicians and professionals that guarantee the hopes and investment of these new projects.
The Official College gives citizens and society the guarantee of the professional competence, watches over the quality and legality of the services offered by the professionals. An interior designer is the one who acts as guarantor for the title set by the ministry and who exercises in a legal and regulated form, being appropriately a member of the College. The intrusiveness today is cause of numerable problems and bad results in the works, derived from a lack of competence and control, due to improvisation and a lack of technical quality.

The College is, moreover, a tool of reference, to help and guide every citizen, institution, professional that requires information and support within the field of the project and interior work. The College opens its door for you with wish of proximity and service.
